At Captain Real Estate we don’t just sell properties. For more than 20 years, we have been a link between builders and communities, translating the needs of home and business owners into a vision for developers.
Our approach begins well before shovel hits dirt, with exceptionally comprehensive research. We then work closely with developers to create the right homes and commercial spaces. We create innovative financing options to ensure the right people can afford them, and use a wide network of connections to ensure the right people know about them.
It has paid dividends. In our early days, we sold about 200 homes a year. It’s now not uncommon for us to sell that many homes over a weekend. The scope of our services and sophisticated expertise makes us more than a brokerage.
Meet the Team
‘Captain’ H. Bal
After eight years solving machine failures as a mechanical engineer at one of the world’s leading car manufacturers, ‘Captain’ Harpreet Bal wanted a change. He was doing real estate deals independently, working closely with his wife, Rajinder. After a lucrative foray into Dubai’s real estate market, he and his wife’s boutique real estate business began to look like it could be something much more.
Rajinder Bal is a software engineer by training. Her real estate career began designing and administering property management software at a downtown Toronto company. That company had extensive real estate holdings which presented a new opportunity. Her first deal, 13 lots, was the humble beginnings of this real estate brokerage.
We have an extensive and reliable network of brokers. By joining, these brokers get priority access to our new projects and offerings. Our enduring industry relationships have been pivotal to our success and their longevity is evidence of the value we bring one another.
One of our most unique offerings is our full-service leasing and rental property management. We facilitate relationships between tenants and landlords to ensure properties are well maintained and resident needs are met. We’re one of the only real estate agencies who do this, and because we’re so deeply immersed in these communities, we do it well.
We pride ourselves on understanding the finest details of the communities in which we work. We zero in on key demographics, market dynamics, pricing, competitor offerings, and most importantly, how all of these could change in the years after the project is finished.
For more than 20 years, we have helped developers choose the sites of their future communities. We do extensive research to understand the community’s needs and potential for growth decades into the future. When then coordinate developers, municipalities, and other players to ensure the complex processes that precede construction happen flawlessly.
The traditional approach to selling homes is too often one-size-fits-all. We’ve added new technology to open up new options to customize the approach for each project. During the sales process we are constantly adjusting and recalibrating, whether that’s floor plan design, pricing plans, branding, or target marketing.
